We are pleased to report that our very own J.R. Fallon was among the graduates of the first class of York County’s Citizen’s Police Academy — a new initiative this year by the Sheriff’s Office. The Academy commenced on February 25th and ran two nights a week for four weeks. The inaugural class consisted of 27 students from 10 York County communities. Classes were held on topics including police patrol operations and tactics, communications, first aid, crime scene processing, political implications, community policing, constitutional law, use of force, K9 utilization, special response team operations, jail operations and investigations, and participants were even invited on a ride-along with department personnel. Attorney Fallon was pleased to share his professional knowledge by teaching the constitutional law lesson, and was also asked to speak at the Academy graduation.
Libby O’Brien Kingsley and Champion has proudly represented the County for many years and has great respect for the York County Sheriff’s Office and all of the fine work that they do!
